"The city of Long Beach has finally come together," says John Morris - 'The Godfather of Long Beach'

New Years Eve celebration in Long Beach, California = A world record jump (The last world record of 2009) and tens of thousands turn up to view the action sports icon Travis Pastrana as he made history in Long Beach.  He soared 269 feet over Rainbow Harbor and successfully landing on a floating barge. The jump put Pastrana almost 100 feet over the former record, which stood at 171 feet.

Then downtown [Ocean Boulevard & Pine] the New Years party continued in the streets. I spoke with the Renaissance Hotel & Restaurant and Smooth's Bar who benefited from the 75,000+ people enjoying Long Beach. Check out my video and Happy New Year!
