Wintry weather near you |
Strange winter photos
After having lived in So. Cal. for the last four and a half years everything feels cold but I know this winter could be a little nicer. Average night time lows in Boston are in the teens lately and daytime highs not even reaching freezing. Two huge storms have already had a direct hit on us and more on the way. No easing into the seasons this year.
This past Sunday all roads were completely covered but they did a good job salting and plowing the roads and roadways are clear right now. We might have more snow on Friday.
For some reason with the house we bought the snow forms this interesting pattern on the roof (actually it is between the roof of the garage and the house which connects in the middle). That formation as been there for over three days now. That is snow you are looking at and NOT a ribbon! :)
The last two pics were taken right after the noreaster on Sunday
