Happy Elvis' 75th birthday |
Elvis Presley's Cars
In celebration of Elvis Presley's 75th birthday, I've uploaded a few photos of some of his favorite cars. The red MG was the same one he used in his classic film "Blue Hawaii." The black Stutz Blackhawk was made for Frank Sinatra but Elvis talked the owners of the lot to sell it to him instead. According to the folks at Graceland, Frank never got a Blackhawk. Elvis was driving a car like this when he died. They were among his favorites.
I will be traveling to Memphis next week and will take more photos. Check out my blog for more of Elvis's cars and the stories behind them.
