Your tips for Small Business Success

URBAN PIRATES Mom Owned Pirate Ship Biz Success in Baltimore

AHOY Mateys! Urban Pirates LLC is a swashbuckling small business success story! Truth be told, we really have proved that if you believe in your idea and don't take no for an answer, you can achieve anything! As moms, Cara Joyce and I started Urban Pirates to provide families and visitors in Baltimore an amazing affordable attraction in the beautiful Inner Harbor! With no money, really no money, and tons of turned down loan apps, we commissioned a builder to build a 52 foot pirate ship the "FEARLESS" from scratch, all on a hand shake! We found professional captains and hired awesome pirates as crew and now we are sailing into our third year as one of Baltimore's premier attractions! Complete with 10 water cannons for blasting away the attacking Mad Dog Mike in his "Cannon Dodger" boat, we offer familes an hour and a half of pure fantasy and adventure! We didn't know how we would do it, we just knew we had to do it, and we have. Our business is growing and we are so happy we did not listen to all those people who said "no" and "you're crazy", well, maybe the last part is true, but it takes a bit of that too! So, ARRRRGGGGH you ready  to be a pirate? Climb aboard and bring your rum- I promise you will never forget this adventure! www.urbanpirates.com    BE FEARLESS!!!!!!
