Protestors Outside Ringling Bros. Circus - Tampa, FL
- katie, CNN iReport producer
On Sunday, the big top rises in Tampa, Florida, and Louise Kahle mobilizes into action. An animal activist for over thirty years, Louise is intent on stopping what she believes is cruel and inhumane treatment of show animals.
Last week, federal courts dismissed a case brought forward by animal activists on cruelty charges against Ringling Bros. Circus. Despite the dismissal, animal activists continue their protest of the use of animals for entertainment purposes.
The circus will be open in Tampa for one week, then moves on to Orlando.
