Makeover Your Life with Tricoci University of Beauty Culture University Launches Facebook Contest Awarding Scholarship to a Beauty School Hopeful

Chicago, IL – To help a talented beauty school hopeful get started in their career during these difficult economic times, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture (TUBC) is launching a contest to provide a $5,000 scholarship to a potential cosmetology student.

“We realize how hard it is in the current economy for young adults to begin a new endeavor such as beauty school,” said Brian Weed, CEO of Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. “The “Makeover Your Life” Contest is our way of providing a potential student with the means to get their start in the exciting and recession-resistant beauty industry.”

The contest will be hosted on the “Tricoci University of Beauty Culture” Facebook fan page. Starting January 18, 2010, beauty school hopefuls are encouraged to get creative and show their talent. Participants can post photos or videos of their best amateur cosmetology work to the fan page, where the Facebook community can vote via “likes.” The participant that receives the most “likes” for their Facebook entry before March 8, 2010 will win a $5,000 scholarship to Tricoci University.

“Beauty school students have a passion for the craft and many have been practicing on friends and family, even prior to any formal education,” said Mario Tricoci, Founder of TUBC. “We are excited to see the photos and videos of potential students’ best work and help someone follow their dream of attending beauty school.”

Tricoci University of Beauty Culture, founded in 2004 by beauty industry legend Mario Tricoci, has redefined the industry to produce salon-ready graduates on the fast track to career success. Using innovative methods designed to teach the next generation, Tricoci University graduates have a 95% state license pass rate and are in strong demand from salons and spas.
