ALERT!! NATIONWIDE 'PCH' online SCAM! (Publishers Clearing House SCAM)

    Its simple.

They are heavily advertising on various TV Channels with the PROMISES OF WINNING MILLIONS OF Dollars.

It tells you to go to their site "PCH.COM".

Once your on the site your almost forced to stay. You get a popup notifiying you that your entry will be Disqualified! (yes even before your info is entered on their home page)

Its obvious the average person would fall for a simple trick.

However the Deceit doesn't end there.

NOTE: There is a LITTLE Disclaimer at the bottom of every page that purchase does NOT improve odds of winning.

Once you enter your info (I entered mainly true credentials but falsified some) you are bombarded with ADS.

The first page of full of magazines[?] ... I just scrolled the mouse till the bottom of the page.

Then you hit a page full of "As Seen on TV" Scams/ Merchandise.

Then when I quickly scrolled to the bottom & hit continue I get a popup saying that I qualify for a $5 Discount (whopee right?).

No, its still the same useless crap.

After hitting continue once again you get invitations to get advertisments sent directly to you from 'partners'... I paid little attention and constantly hit Continue / Skip.

Eventually I got to a page that wouldn't let me continue without entering an ADDRESS THAT WAS IN THE USPS Directory & also a LISTED PHONE NUMBER.

That was fine then I saw the one question that caused me to create this article.

THEY ASK YOU FOR YOUR MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME.

Why the HELL would a company need that.

They want your REAL VERIFIED ADDRESS & your PHONE NUMBER & your NAME & Date of BIRTH.

NOW THEY WANT YOUR MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME!

    It GETS WORSE.

This question is for an "offer" that YOU WILL BE SHARING WITH "PCH's" SPONSORS.

So you are basically UNKNOWINGLY acknowledging companies to directly have access to personal information & even some that are commonly asked by a PASSWORD SECURITY / Verification QUESTION.

You cant continue till you enter all the info & the privacy policy even says this info will be SOLD to advertisers & marketing companies.

    THIS IS A SCAM.

They OBTAIN YOUR INFORMATION to SELL to COMPANIES while contradictingly they tell you that there is no purchase required.

This message is to make the PUBLIC aware of this SCAM & spread it so that it WILL BE SHUTDOWN & hopefully the company sued [eventually].

DON'T FALL VICTIM for FALSE ADVERTISMENTS for MONEY & PRIZES.

YOU GET SPAMMED & SCAMMED either WAY!
