I am glad to report  that I was able to get in touch with my mom; thankfully she is okay, and the children who are in her care are also okay for the most part. Although I am happy to locate my mom, I am still extremely sadden by the devastation in Haiti. I am impatiently waiting for travel clearance so I can do my part and assist in any way that I can.  Finally, I would like to thank the good people who were kind enough to reach out to me and helped in my moment of despair. The comforting words and well wishes was extremely helpful. Thank you very much!   I am especially thankful for CNNs' relentless coverage of this disaster and the other news channels...  Let's pray for the people of Haiti.
