I am Robert Park's friend
Before Robert left, 3 days before, we met up because he told me he was going to NK. I was so worried. I prayed for him/with him. He wasn't worried at all! He was so excited.
He had told me last October that he was gonna go to NK, but I didn't believe him. I thought that he was just gonna do it if NOTHING happened to open the door to NK. But then when I came back from spending 1 month vacation in America, he told me he was going. I was so astounded! & nervous for him. But what could I do? So many people had tried to talk him out of it, but he wouldn't listen.
I met Robert last September when I started attending his public protest/demonstration group for NK, "Freedom & LIfe for all NK's 2009" in Seoul (but it's also a global organization). I am a missionary here in Seoul & an English teacher too.
Now that Robert has gone into NK, so many media outlets are coming to me & others, asking for interviews. I didn't want to, but Robert had asked me before he left to do so. I think it is good because now many people have their eye on NK, & on the problem of what is happening to the people, NOT the nuclear situation.
God told me He was gonna use this situation to open up NK's borders, & to help NK to be free. He also said He would demonstrate His love & His miracles through this, & that He had heard the cries of the NK people & people for NK & He was sad.
Now, God is opening up so many doors with NK, & I see it step by step (it's a process; prayer moves mountains over time because God's timing is not ours -- Isaiah 55).
For one thing, NK said it will open its borders more to American citizens. Also, Kim Jeong Il apologized for his "lack of care for his citizens." BIG THING FOR HIM!
Please don't worry about Robert, just pray for him & believe that God will take care of him. He doesn't wanna get out of NK until they are free in every way. Just pray for him to be protected & to be used there to help others in every way, & to spread the Gospel.
