This iReport is part of an assignment:
Victims of the Haiti earthquake |
RECOVERED: Norman, Ericka (Chambers); 41; Port-au Prince
I am saddened to report that Ericka Norman's body was recovered from the rubble of the UN MHQ building yesterday. Her family and loved ones are comforted that she was recovered, though it is sorrowful time.
We appreciate all of the help that was offered us in the search and the outpouring of love, support and prayer that we have all received. It does help to be reminded of how deeply she was loved, and by how many.
Here are pictures of her with family members(center in dark blue dress with husband Alvin and children; with green multi-colored top and braids with mom Jean and daughter Denise).
She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend who believed in helping others; making the world a better place and had a strong faith in God. We miss her, but are joyful that she has joined the Lord in whom she entrusted her faith and soul.
We miss you Ericka, but we will see you again.
