    I got mine after my 40th birthday. I have this tat on my left shoulder blade. I had almost gotten one while in the military in my 20's. I'm glad I waited and got something not representing just one stage in my life.

     

    As for my job, I obviously don't show it off as I would have to take my shirt off. But I really don't think I would get any flack from my superiors if ever I was in a situation where the tat was exposed--like at the pool.
