    Saying Goodbye:(

    This was my daughters first year showing pigs at the Spokane Jr. Livestock Show.  She did absolutely awesome!!  She got purple ribbons for both of her pigs in "market" & made it to the finals.  She also got a purple & made it to the finals in "fitting & showing".   However, the time did come when she had to sell her pigs & tell them goodbye.  It was extremely hard for her - & me!!  She cried & cried - after all, she spent many, many hours with them & caring for them.  Seeing her so upset made be breakdown in uncontrollable tears also.  I made many of the other mothers tear up.  I was soooo incredibly proud of her though.  She's going to show pigs again, however I don't think the end will ever get easier!!
