George Carlin |
My George Carlin Portrait Tattoo...
I saw George Carlin live for 2 nights in a row in 2000. I use the term "hero" very seldom because I feel that it way too over used. But, I have to say that George WAS my hero. I loved him since I was 7 years old, the first time I saw "Carlin at Carnegie". I felt like I knew him although I never met him. I always wanted to get the chance to show him my tattoo and have him autograph it, then go straight to the tattoo shop and have that autograph tattooed also. I miss him tremendously. Rest easy my friend.
This tattoo is a still shot from his "Jammin' in New York" stand-up. If you're familiar with it... he makes this face after he says "Did you ever walk into a room and you forgot why the hell you went in there in the first place? And 2 words cross your mind...Alzheimer's Disease!"
