    Haiti earthquake aftermath

Desperate need for aid in Leogane

I had direct contact from colleagues in the Leogane area.  They are in desperate need of food and medical supplies because they have received no aid yet.
My colleague has provided me with the details below. he pleads that aid reach them as even those who are uninjured have no food or water.  We must get aid to this area quickly.

"LEOGANE NEEDS A LOT OF HELP. NO ONE HAS REACHED LEOGANE. PEOPLE ARE DYING HERE BECAUSE OF INFECTION. I HAVE TAKEN EVERYTHING POSSIBLE IN OUR DEPOT TO HELP THEM BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH

TRY TO REACHED SOME ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE SOME HELP ESPECIALLY FOR LEOGANE.
THE STATE DEPARTMENT IS THE BEST ONE FOR NOW

CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR US BECAUSE WE MAY SOON BE FAING HUNGER IF HELP CANNOT GET HERE"

"We in Leogane is every need....anything possible we can find will be good. I am at the Nursing School campound where we are serving several hundred people and there at least 10 other locations. I am just talking about Leogane center town.

So please continue to get the word out that Leogane is one of the places that is more affected....... no antibiotics, no analgesic, not even gloves......soon people will be facing hunger. for now some people are looting business....................
    the situation is critical

Please continue to pass along the message. the whole publicity is made for PAP only"
