    We met backstage in Des Moines years ago. He was very considerate and said he looked forward to meeting his fans. I will never forget that he did his "people I can do without" routine.. he looked at me in the audience and said "guys in their 50's named Skip".  We cooresponded for a while after that and I will miss him, he made life easier.
