A Day of Classy Politeness
Aj's experiment is something that everyone should do. After taking a day to be completely aware of polite activity everywhere, I was surprised (well, maybe not) to see all of the un-politeness in the air!
I am happy to report, though, that after doing this experiment, I have definitely added some classy politeness to my day. If someone cuts me off in traffic, so be it. If someone does not give me the 'thank you' wave after I let them merge in front of me, no biggie. I smile at everyone and show appreciate for hard work everywhere (yes, this includes those solicitors hanging outside your favorite grocery store).
Though I thought I was polite to begin with, I have realized that we could all add a touch of politeness to our days. Just think, it can't hurt!
