This iReport is part of an assignment:
Haiti earthquake aftermath |
A Challenge For iReporters To Give For Haiti Humanitarian Needs.
As many of you know I have not been around lately. I myself have faced a life threatening experience lately and had two brain anurysms where I had to have two emergency surgeries . I did not think I was going to make it for a while there. I am home now and slowly recovering. I have had my tv locked on CNN watching the after effects of a people so devestated by the recent earthquake that my suffering felt so simple compared to theirs. I felt I had to do something to help. So I donated $100.00 through the Salvation Army Medical for Haiti as I feel the people are so in need of good medical treatment that I had here in America.
My story is this: I challenge my fellow iReporters to give to a charity that will help ease the suffering of people so in dire need of humanitarian aid. God bless those people and may they be helped soon.
