remembering george carlin
i look back with very fond memories of a young late night D J here in fort worth, texas. the ol station was KXOL and the midnight to dawn on air guy was the funniest i'd ever heard. he was george carlin, i us't to get yelled at for being up so late at night . i would lay in my bed with my transister radio and get caught because i was laugfing so hard i woke up my parents. his "hippy dippy weather man " was one of his many things he would do on his show. he also started his stand up at a club that i would one day sneek into "the cellar " those were very special days to me because i was big for my age and looked older but, i was to young i be there . never the less i never had any one there ask me for my id.
