    Kosovo...The young Europians.

    As of 12 January 2010, 65 out of 192 (34%) sovereign United Nation member states have formally recognised the Republic of Kosovo as an independent state. Notably, a majority of member states of the Europian Union (22 out of 27) and NATO (24 out of 28) have recognised Kosovo.

    Serbia refuses to recognise it, but Kosovo is recognised by all the other territories that it borders but…Three of Serbia's neighbours recognize KOSOVO.
