This iReport is part of an assignment:
Imus controversy |
"LEAVE THAT MAN ALONE" "Imas didn't do anything wrong"
Leave that man alone, "Imas didn't do anything wrong". The public gave more thought to what was said by Imas than needed to. People are just so eagered to find negative behavior. The devious money hunger individual are looking for reason"s to make money off any situation.
I can't believe a man can be destroyed by a simple statement. The whole entire conversation was spoke in slang language. But, the moment Imas related to radio audience they didn't like, it didn't look good. The white man comments was critize immediately, and that when all hell broke loose. Words meant for entertainment turn sour grapes, the audience was offended. People have been real distrub since that last incident with Imas. I believe people still have their memory on standby. WORDS was truly taken out of contents, definitely blowing out of proportion and definitely taken out of wrong. It's really getting scary now days, when a person have to watch everything when say.
Lately, I have been seeing a rash of celebrities get taken of advantage of. People use to be able to iron out there differences. "No" they call up their happy go lucky lawyer on your cell. Attorney's who be there waiting to reap. I believe the civil rights thing is over played with some people. There are many individual standing by to gain off others in evolved. People are out there to kill Imas's career without checking the facts. We must be careful not to crush someone's life down the toilet without justification.
America is where we are suppose to have freedom of speech. It is not showing other's a good example of what our country stand for. America has gotten so use of censorship, pretty soon nothing will be free.
We are losing our freedom to say the things that represent us as a free nation. I remember when everybody wanted to come here to the our free nation. Nope no more. People know all our business, we don't look like we are free. We are giving our freedom of speech a bad name, because we are looking like we are in jail.
