    Martin Luther King Peace March, Estes Park, CO

    In Colorado, Estes Park Elementary School and staff hosted their 13th annual march in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Friday January 15th. The students sang, “We Shall Overcome,” and marched through the school’s halls. The purpose of the march was to promote peace, unity, and tolerance throughout our community. Prior to the march, students learn about Martin Luther King’s childhood, his life, and his practice of non-violence to protest unfair laws.
