Dr. King: "A MAN still standing"

Dr. King: “A man still standing”

Almost fifty years ago a man stood risking life beaten and imprisoned he remained steadfast
Standing Not just for African americans  but for the  hope of a humanity that he believed was still flickering somewhere

Standing firm  first a man he rewarded fists of unrequited hate & bigotry with an open hand of love and non violence

"We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

Almost fifty years ago we saw a man stand with a dream
That one day any and every man and woman could be judged by the value of their actions
Instead of the minuet pigmentations of their skin
I dare say Not just any dream but An American dream
That u and I could eventually sit down with one other
Not merely as white  & black people latino or asian people muslim  atheistic and Catholic people
But someday as the dreamer he was undivided----------simply as people.
    Without preconceived ideas
Without unrequited hate or bigotry but possibly one day someday with an open hand of love and non violence.

Almost fifty years ago a man risked his own life & stood for something and gave a voice to a people that had nothing. His name was Dr. martin luther king jr. and even though its been almost 50 years ago…..  hes still A man  standing!
