College Students Raising $1,000,000 for Haitian Orphans
A group a of students at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana are stepping up to raise money to help rebuild orphanages in Haiti. Their goal is to raise $1,000,000 in six days.
On Wednesday, January 20 Students from Centenary College and friends from the community will set up camp outside the Gold Dome on campus. They are doing this in an effort to raise money to rebuild orphanages in Haiti and as a testament of solidarity to the Haitian people, who are forced to sleep on the ground as they struggle to survive.
