    Some Relief found in Gonaives

My parents, Rodney and Cathy Fitzsimmons have live in Gonaives, Haiti for over 28 years.  I lived there until I was 15 years old.  Today my parents went down to the local hospital to aid the earthquake victims that were able to get out of Port Au Prince.  My father was able to purchase $3,000 worth of medical supplies in downtown Gonaives, that the hospital was in need of (first picture is there truck loaded with the supplies).  On the way back to the hospital with the supplies, they were finally able to fill their vehicle up with gas (second picture).  I believe they have taken more pictures of the victims at the hospital, and should be sending them to me soon.  If you are interested, I can post again.  I thought some might be interested in where some of the victims are going once they leave the capital.  They are still in great need.

    Thank you,

    Lydia Smith
