Black Panther (Cats) In Georgia
Black Panther Story
I had this and other stories emailed to me over the weekend about a Black Panther (Cougar, not the terrorist group) being sighted in Athens, GA area twice.

I know they exist since I've been up close and personal with one within 10 feet, on Eberhardt Cemetery Road in Gainesville, GA. I understand since my own sighting, the cat was seen by a neighbor with 6 kittens. All just as black and beautiful as their mama.
The DNR keeps telling us "Citizens" we are seeing big house cats or Bobcats. If so, I never knew they grew to 140-200 pounds and roared.
Oh well, if I bag a 140 lb House Cat, I'll get it mounted as a trophy. Personally, I could care less if the DNR or other people believe it or not. I was there, they weren't, I know what I saw. To me, this is a common animal in Georgia and other parts of the country.
