Light Years: Your views of space and stars |
2010's "Wolf Moon"
I went out and noticed that the full moon looked much bigger and brighter than it usually does, so I got my camera and took the attached picture in the cold, clear, Northern New Jersey sky.
Apparently, tonight's full moon will be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year.
This being the first full moon of 2010, it is also known as the "wolf moon."
If you haven't seen it yet, go out and take a look! It's beautiful.
