Daddy is home!
Staff Sergeant JD Ward has been deployed to Iraq 3 times. Throughout most of our son, Jake's life, Daddy has been in and out of Iraq. On his third deployment, our daughter, Savanna was born. When she was 5 months old, they met for the first time. There is nothing more sweet than to see the look in a father's eyes when he knows that he will now be able to see his children and touch them every day. Our men and women in service do not just give up everyday luxuries; they sacrifice time with their families to defend our freedom and the freedom of others. Although we might not all agree on the reasons for our military being deployed, we can at least stand behind them! They have answered a very important call...the call of freedom.....Semper Fi!
