Toyota doing the right thing? |
My 1971 Datsun 240Z
I've been into cars all my life, and when the 240Z was introduced, I was 13 years old and fell in love with the car the first time I saw one in 1970. In 1982, I was on the way to the bank to deposit a bonus check I had received for meeting a sales goal, and saw a 1971 240Z on the car lot across the street from the bank, and as they say, the rest is history. I still own it, and drive it at least weekly and to Z car events throughout the Southeast, and with 258,000 miles, it's still going strong. It is as beautiful in my eyes today as it was when I was 13, and after 28 years of ownership, I'm still in love.
