Martin Luther King Didn’t Quit, President Obama Won’t Quit, Therefore I Won’t Quit!
During his January 27, 2010, State of the Union Address President Obama stated that his administration would enforce the Equal Pay Law so that women would get equal pay for an equal day of work. The unemployment rate in the African-American is higher than the national average of 10 percent. I believe that one of the many reasons for the high unemployment rate for minority is employment discrimination based on race.
Although I was original victimized by racial discrimination from 1993-1998 by New York State Department of Correctional Services and New York State Department of Civil Services I can’t accept the fact that no one is going to ever be held accountable for their actions. After reading Pastor Rick Warren’s book “The Purpose Driven Life, I discovered that my divine purpose is to shed light on employment discrimination and retaliation.
I am tired but just like President Obama mentioned in his SOUA I will not quit. I will not quit seeking justice and accountability from New York State Department of Correctional Services, New York State Department of Civil Services, and Andrew Cuomo’s staff at the New York State Attorney General’s Office.

On January 2010, I mailed a copy of my book “A Case of Racial Discrimination and Retaliation Real or Imagined to President Obama. According to the certified signed receipt requested card the book was received by the White House on January 21, 2001. My hope and plea is that President Obama and/or someone from his administration will read the book. After reading the book I believe that it will be perfectly clear that President and his administration needs to also actively enforce Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended prohibition against discrimination and retaliation.
Fact many companies, states, and corporations are improperly using summary judgment motions (Federal Rules of Civil Procedures #56) to cover up employment discrimination. After a minority seeks justice from employment discrimination by filing a lawsuit that person is denied a jury trial. The defendants in these cases file summary judgment motions and get many cases unjustly dismissed by the lower court.
Therefore, Mr. Obama can help improve the unemployment and underemployment of many minorities in this country. He can do this by having his administration actively enforce the current laws that address employment discrimination.
