House Fire Lewis Street, Moncton Canada
Moncton Fire Department responded to a house fire on Lewis Street around 9:30am this morning. 3 Adults a Child and a Dog got out of the home ok and went next door awaiting Red Cross to arrive. Firefighters were in the attic and had the fire out just after 10am. Water is coming through the ceiling causing damage and NB Power were called. Lewis street was blocked off for about 2 hours from Victoria to St. George Street. Very cold in Moncton today with wind chills around -30. Board of works had to be called in because of the water on the street and the freezing cold temps. 11:15am and Firefighters are clearing the scene.
