Don't Ask Don't Tell My Personal Thoughts
My thoughts about repealling the don't ask don't tell policy is the fear of what might happen to gays when they come out in the military. To me, the military is a very macho scene. Straight men might take out their fears on the gay men, therefore putting an obstruction of huge porportions on the military goal. If gay soldiers are always having to watch their back they won't be very effective on the field. I really can't see the good in repealling this policy. I can only see the negative side of it, I can't understand why anyone would want this reversed, for the reason I stated. That's my opinion.
