Lightning Strikes near Pittsburgh on 6-26-08
As usual, more storms have rolled into the Pittsburgh area, much to my satisfaction, although this time, the "after lightning" session was rather interesting, as massive amounts of rain and heavy winds hit the area, but with only minor damage.
These images were in a new location aside from my norm, this time about 4-5 miles South of the Pittsburgh International Airport, looking North. In one of the images, you can see the Airport Control Tower just to the right of a lightning strike.
The view was from atop a hill in a fielded area overlooking Lowes into Robinson Town Center.
