My grandpa is the sweetest man every born and God proved it when He allowed him to be born on Valentine's Day 93 years ago.  Elbert Wiles of Traphill, North Carolina will celebrate his 93rd birthday February 14, 2010.  He is married to his Valentine of 75 years, Ruby Pruitt Wiles.  They celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on September 14, 2009.

Grandpa continues to operate his farm tractor on his 100+  acre farm.  He and grandma plant a sizeable garden each spring and share their bounty with their surviving 8 children and their families.  They faithfully attend church together every Sunday.  Grandpa has also been known to help grandma do a little quilting from time to time.

My grandparents sit on their sofa side-by-side and faithfully watch Nancy Grace at night.  No birthday gift could please him more than to hear Nancy Grace give him a birthday shout out on her show.
