Red lights in capital
Red lights highlight the exterior of Bank of the West Tower on Capitol Mall Ave in Sacramento, CA to show support for February is American Heart Month. Wells Fargo Center next door is also adorned in red, as well as Hyatt Regency, 1209 L Street; Sutter General Hospital; 2801 L Street and Sutter Memorial Hospital, 5151 F Street.
According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular disease and stroke are our nation’s No. 1 and No. 3 killers. Some 81.1 million people in the United States are living with cardiovascular disease and 6.4 million have had a stroke. During the month of February, the American Heart Association urges people to join the battle against these diseases.
