Ladies Pre-Superbowl Party, 2010
I had an entirely new experience on Saturday, Feb. 6; I attended my first ladies pre-superbowl party.
I have no idea how common these are, but I have never heard of a Pre-Superbowl Party before.
According to hostess with the mostess, Tina Merchant, Ladies Pre-Superbowl Parties are a way to make male spouses pay in advance for their own Superbowl parties the following day. Husbands cooked all the food, provided all the snacks, and even sang the music while the ladies hob-knobbed, played with makeup, and watched their kids enjoy a stunning touch football game inside with a mini-football.
The highpoint of the evening was the drawing for doorprises...everyone won something.
Darn, guys know how to cook pretty darn well.
