Unite For Change with Democrats Abroad Argentina
Democrats Abroad Argentina members, expatriates from across the globe and Argentines gather for a Unite for Change meeting and to take a 'Yes We Span' photograph on the Puente de la Mujer (bridge of the woman) in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina, June 28, 2008. The Unite for Change meeting is one of the many being held internationally in conjunction with over 4,000 events in the United States. "The goal is to come together -- as Democrats who supported other candidates in the primary, as well as Independents and even Republicans -- to unite behind common values and build a volunteer organization in cities and towns across the country," according to the official Barack Obama website.
The 'Yes We Span' photograph is a spin off of Obama's campaign slogan, 'Yes we can.'
