    Colorado owner of recalled Prius stands by his car

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     romanmica interviews Prius owner, David Grosser, who says that the recall will make Toyota cars safer because now Toyota will scrutinize their product better.

    While many Toyota owners are worried about the safety of their cars, one Colorado Prius owner says he thinks that the safety story is overblown.

     

    David Grosser owns a 2007 Toyota Prius which was recalled due to the possibility of the floormat becoming entrapped under the accelerator possibly causing the car to accelerate out of control.

    But Grosser isn't worried about the safety of his car, in fact he says that he's completely confident in his Prius, and he goes on to add that the current media hype over the story is adding to an unreasonable amount of needless fear about the safety of Toyota cars.
