Civil unrest continues in Lar
Situation critical in Lar as arrests and detainment continue
Iran News Agency: The people [of Lar]faced military forces from the previous night until this morning (February 8, 2010).
Due to an increase in repression, a number of shops [whose owners were on strike] were forced to re-open. The demands of the people have not yet been met. The situation is [still] critical.
A citizen was reported stating: “The arrests and detainment in the city are ongoing. Some arrests were even made last night.”
