Free Commemorative Tattoos
Golden Spiral Studios Located a block away from the new Civil Rights grand opening, offered a free commemorative tattoo for those who were present for the opening on February 1st, 2010. The tattoo was of a coffee cup with four mens silhouette's on the back rim, to represents the four African American men who sat down at the Woolworth's counter asking for a cup of coffee, and began the sit-in movement of the Civil Rights era.
