    Herndon Igloo

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     lynchy40 says they plan to build a fire inside the igloo tonight. It's been sealed with water to form an icy coat. The tiki torches can be lit as well.

    To alleviate the boredom of being snowed in, my roommate and I spent 3 days making this igloo.  What we thought would be an afternoon project took over the whole weekend.

     

    The igloo is approximately 7-8 feet tall, it can comfortably hold 4 adults and we estimate it took somewhere around 3 tonnes of snow to make.
