    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     lynchy40 says this igloo has been sealed with water to form an icy coat. The tiki torches can be lit as well.

    It took 3 days, an estimated 3 tons of snow and a lot of hard work but it was all worth it tonight as we light a fire and had s'mores in the Herndon igloo.

     

    The igloo made by roommates Rob Ruana and Yvonne Lynch with help from friends Todd Wilcox, Eric and Colleen and Heidi the dog looked awesome lit by tiki lights and a grate fire.

     

    Unfortunately the fire was short lived as the igloo was starting to melt but the well constructed ice house proved warm enough without a fire for a late night picnic, great fun.
