Sounds of the Desert Dog
I was taking pics of the clouds rolling in & heard the familiar sound of the local "Desert Dogs" aka Coyotes.
( I must admit the first time I heard this little gang chat I was a bit startled.) I couldn't see this particular gang as they were down on the side of the riverbed. I turned my camera in their direction & thought this would be interesting for anyone who has not heard critters in the wild.
We Love living among all the wildlife including bobcats, coyotes, lots of rabbits, quail & many different types of birds. Ooops, forgot the lizards & SNAKES! :-)
UPDATE - I was inside & heard the little gang this past Saturday...I quickly & quietly went out front & was LUCKY enough to see them - 5 Coyotes walking quickly almost in a line across our land toward the riverbed. It was fun to finally see how many were in the group. They were "talking" as they walked.
