Your home-office attitude
Obsessing the Image - A Photographer’s Home Office
Due to the economic shrinkage, we moved our business from a 1,800 square foot office space in San Francisco into our 250 square foot second bedroom. This photo shows the desk in the home office where I obsess about photography - reading, editing and uploading. I am in another world (right brain shift?) when editing photos I have taken for clients or for my own personal portfolio. When in this mode, I am totally focused and am rarely distracted by the home environment - just ask my wife. I like the freedoms that working from home allows. I never have to call to say I am working late at the office, or have to go to the office on weekends because the office is home. I am surprised how much I like this arrangement. I do have to remind myself occasionally to go outside - but I find outside is often overrated.
