    A truth never heard

I am a small hotel owner of a Wingate by Wyndham hotel in Abilene Texas who is  being slammed by my franchise. They are turning off my on-line reservations for lock of payment . I make payment  as much as I can when I can. Small pawns of the corporation make agreements with you for a certain payment just to get your money not mentioning any consequences. Their bosses already make agreements to shot you down from any on-line reservations until full payments are made without  a word of notification. They are demanding money that I don't have even after looking at my financial statements. I showed the Corporation giants all of my financial statements from last year and how much money of my own I invested just to pay the bills. Nothing worked.

The situation in the country is grim and I am working more then 80 hrs. a week trying to feed a giant  Wyndham Corporation that seems to laugh at my efforts. Please help me expose this giant for what they are and that is heartless. All they care about is if they receive their bonuses not the people who are having a hard time paying their bank loans to survive. Wyndham bought a lot of different chains when times were great and now Wyndham can't seem to help all of the chains that they purchased. No visible advertising in the past 16 months for Wingate by Wyndham chain means no exposure and no name recognition which means no guests. Our nightly rates went from over a $100 a night last year and now it's barely $80 a night with lots of specials. Each month we have to pay $40,000 in bank loans, plus electric bill, water bill, gas bill, employee paycheck and etc. The situation in the country does not seem to reach the Corporate Giants they want their money and will do strange things just to rip it out of you their franchisees. With layoffs, people traveling less, companies cutting down on all travel a small chain with less then 200 hotels is having a hard time to get business. We have been #1 out of 32 hotels on TripAdvisor for 16 months and yet our occupancy has been less then 25% a month.

My parents decided to built this hotel so they have a nest egg for their retirement and now we all have invested everything we have to maintain this hotel. All of our money and all of our time is invested here hoping to float above the water and all we getting is dragged down by the bricks that made our Wingate by Wyndham. I understand that everyone needs money but a corporation that sees their hotels going on auction blocks month to month should reach out to them and help them not turn their backs on them.

I thank god everyday that I am healthy and that I can carry on and work as much as I do. The only thing that depresses me is that I am missing a lot of my children's childhood but hopefully I am investing in their future as my parents invested into mine.

I was asked by one of the corporate individuals to take this story down but I decided to listen to my wife and I did not take it down just Edit it. I still kept my own thoughts from the original story as my freedom of speech and expression should not be compromised. I want my wife and kids to be proud of me and I want them to be aware to never back down from what they believe.
