    The Cleanup Begins in Nation's Capital

    These pictures do not do justice to the massive amounts of snow we have gotten in the last 7 days. Official measurement for my area of the city was 36 inches. Now we have large mountains of compacted snow and ice from the cleanup. We are all really hoping Metro will be able to resume service soon. Not fun, but could have been much worse.  My dog found the snow absolutely amazing though.
