Amateur Photographer Captures Gila River Bed On Fire!
LAVEEN: Fire fighters were hard at work today attempting to bring the Gila River bed fire under control.
Scot Moran, local amateur photographer, says he noticed the smoke rising above the Phoenix metro area and thought it would be a good opportunity to try out his new hobby. Using his Hummer H2, he decides to go offroad to capture these photos.
The fire has burned more than 5,000 acres at the time his shots were taken late Saturday afternoon.
Moran takes us directly to the blaze and captures the fire's devestation up close and personal.
