    From her graduation from medical school as the lone female student to her retirement as Chairman Emeritus of the Henderson State University Biology Department Dr. Peggy Rae Dorris has been a groundbreaker in many fields.
    Whether establishing a pioneer bovine artificial insemination program or classifying previously unknown spiders in Arkansas she has consistently done what others said was not possible.
