    Nor'easter hits southern New England. We climb a mountain to see the winter wonderland

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     calebjc went on a winter hike with his fiancé in the middle of a Nor’easter that dumped almost 8 inches on Mt. Wantastiquet. “I guess most people like to stay in during snow storms, but we like to go out. … We live in Vermont, if we didn’t like the cold, we would move,” he said.

    Laura and I climb Mt. Wansastiquet's winter wonderland during a Nor'easter storm (finally!). We've been waiting for some real snow here in southern Vermont and New Hampshire as the big storms that hit New York City, Washington, DC, and up north in Burlington, VT missed us.

     

    This storm resulted in about 8 inches of very fluffy snow by 4pm tonight, Feb. 16th, 2010.
