No National Tea Party Leaders, Local Chairman Declares

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     BarbRad asked local Tea Party members in Benton County, Arkansas how they felt about supposed Tea Party leaders at the CPAC.
    - jsarverCNN, CNN iReport intern

Benton County (AR) Tea Party Chairman Kirk Harkness didn't attend the national Tea Party Convention because, he says, Tea Party is grass roots.  All the Tea Party groups are independent of each other; forming a national party might be impossible.

Harkness also believes CPAC had it wrong when they paraded "Tea Party Leaders" before the public.  Harkness says no one in the Tea Parties ever heard of those people.  "They declared themselves leaders," says Kirk Harkness, "and somebody believed them."
