Sure the Hummer is not an efficient vehicle but then is any full size truck? Hummer is constantly attacked by the do gooder tree huggers of this country.... my question to these people is: Have you ever really researched the Hummer, have you ever ridden or even better driven one? We love our Hummer... its extremely comfortable and very capable, seats 7 adults comfortably and can haul our toys around effortlessly. I have absolutely no problem with people who want economy but there are people in the world who do need and use a big vehicle like this for its intended purpose. It will truly be sad if Hummer is not saved by a late to the table buyer, we will likely trade ours in on a gently used 2009 (last of the H2 production) within the next 12-16 months unless someone steps up as a buyer. I would love to see a diesel version offered as it would have increased power and better mileage (win/win situation).
